No Sugar Added Pear Sauce

This pear sauce is sweetened only with pure stevia, making it a delicious low-sugar delight!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. pears (cut into chunks)
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. pure stevia powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 small splash water

Method
 

  1. After cutting your pears into chunks, place all ingredients in a saucepan on the stove over medium low heat.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer until pears have reached your desired level of tenderness.
  3. Leave the pear chunks whole to eat as a compote, mash them with a potato masher for a chunky pear sauce, or transfer to a blender and puree for a smooth pear sauce.
  4. Enjoy!
